Rising Above a Victims Life Testimonies

Rising Above A Victim's Life helped me examine the sexual abuse of my childhood in a safe, spirit controlled environment.
It helped me understand how the lies I believed as a child had produced unhealthy patterns of behavior that were still affecting my life today.
Through the testimonies, discussion groups and prayers, I was able to begin loving God, myself and others in a new way.
The series gave me support for a journey that would have been too painful and confusing for me to make on my own. I thank God for the series itself and for the kind help of it's wise and humble leaders.

I stand here today as a testimony that my life has been set free from shame, guilt, condemnation, contempt, and hatred from the abuse that I lived through. And I want to give hope to those of you who want that for yourselves. Jesus Christ has and is restoring the years that the locust have eaten and He has given me double for my trouble. And, if Jesus Christ was to ask me to live my life over again and live through everything that I lived through, I would wholeheartedly say YES, because the glory that I have experienced is so wonderful. Had I never known the pain and bondage, I would never have known and felt the joy and freedom that I do today
