Mission Statement

 

 

The mission of Oaks of Righteousness is to raise-up the Body of Christ to maturity through restoration and inner healing. (Ephesians 4:11-13 NIV)

"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."

Goals and Objectives

A.  To magnify the absolute truth of God's Word and allow people to witness the awesome healing power of Jesus Christ. Working in conjunction with existing churches, Oaks of Righteousness will:

  • Build a team of prayer ministers who are prepared to minister healing
  • Foster maturity and strengthen individuals
  • Empower individuals to develop their spiritual gifts through hands-on ministry

B.  We will minister to the body of Christ with:

  • Seminars as a vehicle to disciple each individual
  • Training schools to raise up leaders
  • Ministry groups to bring intimacy and accountability to the body while providing a safe, loving, family environment to reach the lost

Isaiah 61:1-3 NIV --- "The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion --- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor."
